Various Thoughts

Today's "various thoughts" all happen to involve the word "FULL", since that's the Manic Monday theme for this week.

1. If the ocean was full of lemon zest and garlic and pepper, we could catch fish that were already marinated. Cooking would be a snap! The only problem, of course, is that the ocean would also be full of fish poop. Kinda like it is already.

2. I'm full of Kruncher's Cheddar and Sour Cream potato chips, which is kind of a shame because they weren't really all that good.

3. It's been raining for the past couple days, and the rivers are getting full. There are flood watches for all of southern Michigan. If you don't hear from me in a few days, it's because I'm floating downstream on a really big hunk of plywood, crying for someone to help me but none of you will be listening because you're all too busy with your blackberries and I-pods and I-phones and laptops and bluetooth thingies.

4. I would love to have a full-time job that involved playing music, eating pizza, farting, petting cats, and correcting people's spelling.

Marvellous and funny thoughts, as usual.

You're a woman after my own heart (#4), except for that cat thing.

If you start floating down the river, just make a blog entry about it. I get my blog feeds on my iPod.

Ha! That first one reminds me of Michael Keaton talking to his tape recorder "feed the tuna mayonaise" as an idea to streamline tunafish production...

That full time job...can you do all of those things at once? That's talented...

AnthonyNorth: Yay! Thank you!

Nonamedufus: Cats are good therapy. And they're totally legal, unlike other things I could mention...

Lynda: Hopefully I'll have Internet access in the middle of the river.

VE: Well, I can hold the pizza with one hand, pet the cat with the other, and glare disapprovingly at spelling errors while I fart in the key of D-major. How much is that worth to you?

Tink: Happy Monday!

That would be an awesome job. It's pretty much what I do already, but no one pays me.

Could I just hire you as my personal assistant? I don't know f I could pay you all that well but I'd give you a place to live and food to eat. I'll even promise to only try to slip you tofu once every three months.

DaOldMan: We should type up a resume!

Gwen: What kind of health care plan will I get? Am I allowed to scare the neighbors? Will I have to become a Canadian citizen and promise to spell things wrong? You aren't going to serve me poutine, are you?

Gwenhwyfar said...

I promise not to cough on you and I own almost every kind of painkiller known to man. Yes, it's one of my favourite things to do. Probably, but you get free health care and shit so, you know, pretty good deal really. No, never, I swear.

Gwen: Hmmmmm.... I must ponder this....

Oh and did I mention that I have access to all manner of delicious foods (including hot and sour soup)?

Gwen: I've never had hot-and-sour soup...
