For Morgen

Maybe this is what I heard in the forest last week...

I thought they killed that guy and have him in a box somewhere.

Shelli: This must mean that there's more than one of them! They're everywhere. Go look outside.

I saw Bigfoot on the news yesterday. Isn't it incredible that all the mythical figures can only be photographed badly? ♥

I saw him on the news, too.
Turns out Bigfoot has possum DNA.
Who knew?

Bigfoot is a possum? Dang! I'd hate to meet that possum in a dark forest.

Maybe he's a werepossum?

WillThink4Wine: Y'know, here's the thing-- I actually had this weekend's posts ready BEFORE the recent Bigfoot news came out. I wrote them a week ago on Sunday and put it in the "scheduled post" list, set to drop a week later.
Little did I know that between then and now, a Bigfoot story would hit the media. It kind of annoys me because it makes it look like I did these posts in response to that story. I didn't, I swear.

Morgen: I personally believe it's possible Bigfoot (in general) is real, but am not entirely convinced 100% about the recent Georgia Bigfoot discovery. Anything's possible. The possum DNA could simply mean that this creature was a carnivore who killed and ate a possum. (If you killed a creature with your bare hands, you'd have that creature's DNA on you. If you ate it, that DNA would be in your stomach until you digested it). Sadly, the guy who claims to have found this has a past record of doing hoaxes. I want to believe, but am reserving judgment for now. I guess what it boils down to is, even if this one is a fake, that doesn't mean Bigfoot isn't real.
Know what I mean?

Travis: If he asks for your wallet, give it to him!

Marilyn: That would make for some interesting road kill.

The DNA tests turning up possum cracked me up --- and then to try to say "stomach contents" --- I mean, if they DNA tested Janna they would get "crazy white female" not "spicy bean burrito" right?

Morgen: It would depend what part of me they tested. :) I AM part bean burrito, as you may remember.
