Snow vs. Car

As you know from my previous post, I was snowed in for a few hours today. I finally got the car out of its frozen white prison. It wasn't easy.
Here are a couple pictures I took so you can see how deep everything was covered. See how high the snow comes up on the tires? See how much more snow there is, compared to the pictures in the previous post?

You know you're hooked on blogging when your car is covered in all this snow, you can't leave the house until it's all cleared away, and one of your first thoughts is "I gotta BLOG about this!"
.

Well, who wouldn't want to blog about that?!?!?!? That's way cool...as long as you don't have to go anywhere and you have plenty of supplies.

Note to self: never visit Janna in January. :-) Can you believe we haven't had any snow yet in NYC? I have a strange feeling we're going to get it all at once! Help!

Everything is blog fodder when you are a true blogger! :) Hope you can stay cleared out for a little while at least. Now it is just plain cold.

Travis: I have some stuff to do tomorrow... and I don't have as many supplies as I wish I had!

Steve: When the inevitable hundred-year-blizzard happens, be sure to blog about it!

Shelli: It is cold indeed. But still better than summer heat!

Oh boo hoo! Have I mentioned that it is cold down here?

What kind of car is it?

You think that is bad you should have seen my car, ugh.

I remember the year I lived up near the Great Lakes... It gets cold here, but cold without more than a foot of snow at a time really is better than cold with more than a foot of snow.

Jasmine's day care required snow suits and boots. I didn't even know what a snow suit looked like before that. Now I have the adult carhart version myself.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just take the sled to work?

Happy New Year!

What I wouldn't give to have one day like that here in Austin. We get about 1/32" of snow once every 3 years. We don't want a lot of it, just one day every other year or so.

WOW! That IS a lot of snow! I'm sorta new to your place...where is it you live? Ahhh Michigan! I'm Ohio.

Mr. Fab: It may be cold down there, but your car isn't buried in snow like this! It's a Chevy Cavalier, BTW.

Robin: It's been a snowy winter so far for a lot of people!

Marilyn: I remember being in school and wearing snowsuits.... ages and ages ago.... sigh.

Dutchy: The sled is buried even further!

Whall: I wouldn't mind this happening every week, as long as it always immediately melted the next day or two.

Julie: Michigan, yes! Land of Great Lakes and Corn Flakes and Snowflakes!
