Ketchup update

Last night I began the ketchup consumption process which may lead to my untimely death in a few months.
Isn't this exciting???
Bluepaintred sent me some pictures of HER ketchup bottle, which DOES say to refrigerate after opening. At first I thought it was going to be some freaky weird Canadian brand of ketchup, but no, it's Heinz-- the same brand I'M using!! So this will be interesting!
Here's what she sent (note: I cropped/shrank the pictures because they were huge, but rest assured that this really was on the bottle!)

Bah! That's French ketchup. You can't trust that. The French eat their own young.

is there a 1-800 number to call Heinz and ask??

I just looked at my own ketchup bottle and it says nothing about refridgeration...I say go for it. If you die, we'll all sue and make millions!!

Desert Songbird: Aw, c'mon, be adventurous!

Mr. Fab: Are French horns bad too? What about French kissing?

Aisby: Good question! I'll check!

Steve: But what about MY millions? I'll be too dead to claim them!

so do the french put ketchup on American Fries?
and aren't you glad us Americans grew out of calling 'em Freedom fries?

But note - that ketchup came from a Twin Pack -- so there was one bottle as a backup when the first one poisoned you at room temp!

Haven't you learned by now that you shouldn't listen to Mr. Fab?

"tomato ketchup aux tomates"
Who'd a thunk it?????
I don't understand why Canadian ketchup would need refrigeration anyway - isn't that the FROZEN north???

Morgen: That whole "Freedom Fries" thing was utter bullshit, in my opinon. Yes, I'm very glad most of the country has outgrown that.

Lynda: Something tells me I'm going to have to learn the hard way.

Anonymous/Peggy: I wish was frozen, because then Michigan would be a lot cooler! We're right next to Canada, you know. Sort of.

Metalmom: Mon cherie, I love ze Canadians with ze strange ideas. Zey are mah friends! :)

The ketchup bottles at the place I went for lunch said to "For best results, keep refrigerated after opening". It was very small and in an unusual place. Of course, it could be because the bottles were fridge door bottles.

Lynda: It's strange, how some bottles say it and some bottles don't...

Americans probably like ketchup with more corn syrup in it than Canadians. Corn syrup will kill anything.
