I just read this article about a jalapeno pepper eating contest.
The winner ate 247 jalapenos in eight minutes.
The runner-up ate 239 jalapenos in eight minutes.

you did see about the omaha corn eating contest? i can eat nine ears of corn in eight minutes. it's amazing how much people can eat in a short amount of time. not as much pain with corn as jalapeños.
