Halloween meme
Morgen tagged me with another meme today! This one has a bunch of questions (13, to be exact) about Halloween.
Here goes:
1. What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
I seem to be the only person alive who was scared by The Blair Witch Project. Fiction-movies don't generally scare me, 'cuz I know they're fake. But even though Blair Witch was also fiction, it was set up to look as if it was a real documentary. That's what got me.
4. When was the last time you went Trick Or Treating?
I've never gone trick-or-treating.
5. What's your favorite Halloween Candy?
6. Tell us about a scary nightmare you had.
One night before a particularly stressful event, I had an awful nightmare filled with serpents and giant worms. Since worms are a phobia of mine (scoleciphobia), this was a really scary dream for me.
7. What is your Supernatural Fear?
SUPERnatural? Hmmm... Demons, I guess.
8. What is your Creepy-Crawlie Fear?
Worms. This has been a HUGE fear of mine ever since childhood. Here's what started it: One day when I was reeeallly young I was outdoors playing in the mud. I saw a worm. It startled me but I figured "I'll kill it; I'll just chop it in half." Well, I didn't know that if you cut a worm in half, both ends live. I stood there in horror as I saw two separate worm halves, both wiggling. It scared the crap out of me. Up until then, I'd naturally assumed that if you CUT SOMETHING IN HALF, it DIES!!! Silly me! Ever since then, worms terrify me. I know they can't HURT me, but that's not the point. I'm not afraid of being hurt. I'm just extremely EXTREMELY repulsed. I will go to extraordinary lengths to avoid being around those ugly lousy rotten things. I can handle snakes a lot easier than worms. At least snakes have facial features!
9. Tell us about a time when you saw a ghost, or heard something go Bump in the night.
I've never seen a ghost, but something sort of strange did happen a couple weeks ago....
Now I'm supposed to tag at least one person, and they copy these questions onto their blog, giving their own answers. I think I'll tag Vinnie and Onionboy.

Fake ghosts = Not scary.
but "Real" ghosts/spirits = yikes!!!
2. What was your favorite Halloween Costume from childhood?
I never celebrated Halloween as a child, so I never had a costume.
3. If you had an unlimited budget, what would your Fantasy Costume be for this Halloween?
Actually it'd be neat just to have a simple black druid cape/hood. Those look really cool. I tried making one once, but failed miserably.

5. What's your favorite Halloween Candy?
Wow. It's a toss-up between Dark Chocolate, Butterfinger, and Twix. Ooh, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! What? I have to pick just ONE? Aggcchh! I guess I'll say Twix...

I've never seen a ghost, but something sort of strange did happen a couple weeks ago....
I was visiting this bar/restaurant in Somerset, Michigan, called The Lakeside Lounge. It's reputed to be haunted.. There was a TV in the corner which was OFF, yet when I looked up I saw a strange ribbon of reddish static crawl across the screen, from left to right. After it was gone, the TV screen was blank again. I looked around, wondering if I'd seen a reflection of something, but found nothing that could have caused it.
10. Would you ever stay in a real Haunted House overnight?
No. I would probably die of fright.
11. Are you a traditionalist (just a face) Jack O'Lantern Carver, or do you get really creative with your pumpkins?
I like to be creative! I wish I had fancy carving tools to try making some of those super-intricate projects. I love making artsy things!
12. How much do you decorate your home for Halloween?
I've never decorated for Halloween.
13. What do you want on your Tombstone?
I like Morgen's "Sausage and pepperoni" idea....

(Actually I'm surprised he didn't say "Waiting For Blogger"....)
But on MY gravestone, hmmm...
Three ideas:
1) "Hello? Hello, is this thing on?"
2) "Eat right, Exercise, Die anyway."
3) "All I wanted was for someone to love me... where were YOU?"

Okay, I just tried to make your dreams come true and by your froogle item of choice...urine be gone...and it was out of stock! You certainly know how to pick those extremely rare items of fine distinction that get snapped up at a moment's notice. I tried!
Mm, I forgot about Reeses peanut butter cups. I think I'm going to have to buy some today.
Your answers are cute.
Steven: What can I say, I'm a classy broad with fine tastes... LOL.
Jessica: Reeses are yummy, aren't they? Mmmm.
I read this meme first thing this morning, and I CANNOT believe I didn't leave a comment! WTF?
What can I say, today's one of my "off" days -- I guess after the infrared Bigfoot & Death Visits Janna over the past couple of days, I'm due for an off day...
I love your answers. Especially about the worms. Ha! I'd forgotten about "Waiting For Blogger" as a tombstone epitaph: marvelous!
Yeah, I'm gonna go for sausage, pepperoni and ONIONS on my tombstone! MMMmmmmmmm
(and I'll get to eat the whole pizza, cuz it's been Onionized!)
