The great condiment conspiracy

"And don't even get me started on A-1 Steak Sauce!" Jeremy pointed accusingly at the condiment shelf. "What happened to batch P-49? D-7? Q-83? We're supposed to believe they just happened to get it right on the first try?"

Lorna scribbled a note to herself.

"What's that?"

"Just a reminder to buy decaf next time."

Happy Friday!

They actually started at "Z" and figured even if they didn't get it right by "A" that would be the one they went with so they can be first on the shelf. Don't look at me that way, it's as valid as any other theory. :P

The right condiment is serious business, and no place for a partly cloudy thoughts. He needs more caffeine!

LOL. It always gets me when one of my friends decides to get on that particular hobbyhorse. Not necessarily with steak sauce, though.

Mine is here.

Love the perspective of the opening comments, and then Lorna's reaction of completely ignoring the rant was perfect.

I drink nothing but espresso...LOTS of it...make it at home...home is STARBUCKS!

And only Worcestershire Sauce will do. I put it into my espresso. "If ya never tried it...."

Jeremy is related to my Amoeba. I can tell. Decaf might not do it! Just a friendly warning.

Funny 55...! I can relate to this.
Now, coffee with no caffeine is not really... coffee... is it? :)
Loved you 55! Peace and love/ Jo.

Ha! Of course they never get it right on the first try.

Decaf is like non-alcholic beer.

Cheers! (not with A-1)

Oh, good one. I love the "And don't even get me started..." It makes me think the rant is well on its way, and the A1 Sauce is not the first thing to come under fire. Too much caffeine for sure!

My 55 is up here.

A perfect short story! My wife and I have been there 1,000 times. I get agitated about dumb stuff and she revokes my caffeine priviledges.

This reminds me of a magnet I saw today. It said, "If it weren't for coffee, I wouldn't have a personality."

At least life's not boring for these two. :)

Ji: Thank you! :)

Mom's Journal: In a way, that makes sense....

Buzzard: The right condiment IS serious business! Yes! :)

Alice: Oh, I completely believe that there are plenty of conspiracies going on in the world. Still, I doubt condiments are involved. :)

Peter Stone: Thank you! :)

Brian Miller: I love bold and spicy things too. The hotter the better!

Steve: Worcestershire in espresso? :P ...Really?

Sh@KiR@ CK: Your daughter's a coffee drinker? How does she feel about A1 sauce?

Quilldancer: Poor Jeremy and Amoeba!

järnebrand: I've never been a coffee drinker, so I admit I have no clue if decaf tastes different from regular. (Does it?)

Hootin'Anni: I hope your weekend was super terrific too. Mine was pretty good! :)

MamaZen: Thank you! :)

Grace: Yay! :)

Yvonne: LOL! I have to admit I've never tried non-alcoholic beer either... is it as bad as it sounds?

PattiKen: That's exactly the backdrop I was going for. :) Thanks!

MonkeyMan: I try! :)

Marilyn: It does, doesn't it?

G-Man: But McDonalds' ketchup is so much better than Heinz! (That's ok. Heinz is still good; I'll take it as a compliment anyway. LOL. :)

StanSki: A1 sauce, you mean? It's ok, but not my favorite. Go ahead and give it a try. You might like it. :)

MikeWJ: And if you get agitated about having your caffeine privileges revoked, does she then decide to revoke other privileges too?

Alicia: I'm sort of the same way, except lately my personality has come from herbal tea. I realize this means I might be boring, but I'm strangely ok with that.

Spam-Person-Whose-Comment-I-Deleted: Please go outside and get some fresh air.

Patti: I'm a fan of worcestershire sauce, myself. Especially Lea & Perrins brand. That is really good stuff.
